About VIGO
In their own words
About the company & team
Residential facility Venray consists of five single-family homes in the neighborhood with a maximum of four clients per home.
Do you want to, as a care assistant, be part of a team consisting of various professionals including nurses, supervisors, and therapists, and does working in mental healthcare appeal to you? Then apply quickly!
As a care assistant in healthcare, you are part of a friendly team. Your team consists of various professionals, including nurses, supervisors, and therapists, working together towards a Triple-C treatment climate. In this treatment climate, everyday life is central and we look at the possibilities of our clients. Within the department, we ask for a lot of the client's self-reliance where possible, including taking care of keeping their own room/home clean, doing groceries, cooking, doing laundry, etc. Clients require support in these areas, varying per client. As a care assistant, you, together with your colleagues, offer appropriate support focused on the client as an individual.
Your tasks will include, among others, receiving and tidying up meal orders, replenishing items in the department, maintaining the (sleeping) rooms, often together with clients, keeping kitchens clean, and placing the bread/meal orders.
Residential facility Venray consists of five single-family homes with a maximum of four clients per home. The resident group is very diverse, both in terms of age and disability. It usually concerns individuals with a mental health condition, sometimes in combination with a mild intellectual disability.
The five homes of Woonvoorziening Venray are all located in the same street in the neighborhood, just outside the Vincent van Gogh grounds. Most clients can postpone requests for help until the planned counseling moments, but if that unexpectedly does not work, they can contact the residential group via telephone. The office, from which the team works, is located at one of the homes where clients reside who require a bit more proximity. Clients can therefore go there themselves when they need help.
Vincent van Gogh is the largest mental healthcare organization in North Limburg and is known for its innovative, person-centered care. We work in small, self-managing teams, where your autonomy and input are essential. Additionally, you will receive all the space for professional and personal development. As a recognized training institute, we invest in the healthcare professionals of the future - and you can play a valuable role in that.
