Requirements
What we're looking for
Completed training as a psychiatrist and a valid BIG registration and AGB code;
To be eligible for this position, a positive Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.

Scaling in accordance with CAO GGZ FWG Medical Specialists. The salary amounts to a minimum of €6,691 and a maximum of €11,292 for a full-time employment, depending on your knowledge and experience;

The role
Do you want to work within a highly specialized setting where patient care, diagnostics, innovation, research, and education converge? And do you get energy from guiding doctors in training and other professionals in their development toward becoming mental health specialists? Then we would love to meet you.
Within our highly specialized expertise centers, you will treat patients with complex, rare, or treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders. Two centers, the Center for Neuropsychiatry and the Korsakov Center, are recognized as TOPGGz departments and fulfill a national expertise function in the fields of patient care, scientific research, education, and knowledge sharing.

What you'll do
You perform diagnostics, indication, and treatment for patients with complex, rare, or treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders;
You treat disorders for which a complex pharmacological or other biological treatment may be necessary;
As a lead practitioner, you coordinate these treatments and advise fellow practitioners where necessary;
You supervise A(N)ioS and VioS;
You have a prominent role in innovating and initiating high-quality, tailor-made care programs and also promote this to the teams;
You think and act within networks and contribute to knowledge networks and maintain contact with referrers;
You contribute to the scientific culture.
You make an active contribution to the Psychiatry department, participate in developments spanning across training and departments, and participate in evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Requirements
You have an affinity with patients with complex, rare, or treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders and challenging diagnostic issues;
Both experienced and starting psychiatrists are welcome to apply.

About the company & team
Within the TOPGGz-recognized Centers of Vincent van Gogh (Center for Neuropsychiatry and Korsakov Center) and/or within the Center for Anxiety and Obsession, you will be given the space to apply your expertise within Top-clinical Mental Health Care. You are deployable within one, two, or all three centers and, depending on the care demand and expertise, provide a contribution. Together with fellow specialists, you offer innovative diagnostics and treatment to patients with complex care needs. Our centers possess both clinical and outpatient facilities. You will work in a multidisciplinary team in which patient care, scientific research, innovation, and education go hand in hand.
You are part of a strong multidisciplinary team, consisting of, among others, psychiatrists, clinical (neuro)psychologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists. Together, we deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and actively contribute to knowledge development.
As a psychiatrist, you fulfill an important role within the treatment team. You are the (lead) practitioner, think along regarding complex diagnostic and treatment issues, and contribute to the further development of our specialist care. Additionally, you play an active role in the training and guidance of doctors in training and other healthcare professionals. Through your expertise, you connect patient care, innovation, and knowledge sharing, both within and outside the organization.
In addition to close cooperation within the multidisciplinary treatment team, we work intensively with relatives, referrers, hospitals, municipalities, and other chain partners. Together, we ensure appropriate, person-centered care and guide clients as well as possible during transitions between different forms of care and support.
As a psychiatrist, you are furthermore an ambassador and a connector. You know how to make our range of treatments visible both internally and externally and actively contribute to cooperation within and outside the organization. You stand firm in your shoes, feel at home with complex target groups, and attach great value to autonomy, quality improvement, and scientific research to deliver the best possible care.
