The activities take place within a clinical forensic addiction care setting where clients reside with a combination of addiction issues, psychiatric disorders, and a judicial background. The department consists of a detox and diagnostics unit and a treatment unit. Within this 24-hour setting, safety, recovery, observation, and treatment are central. Work is performed in a multidisciplinary team in which different disciplines work closely together to support clients in recovery and behavioral change.

• Guiding clients during detoxification and treatment trajectories.
• Performing nursing and somatic observations.
• Administering medication.
• Identifying psychiatric and physical risks.
• Conducting individual guidance interviews.
• Reporting observations and progress.
• Participating in multidisciplinary consultation.
• Contributing to a safe and stable treatment climate.

You choose for yourself which location you want to work in. If you want a fixed group and to build a bond, that is possible. If you prefer to alternate between locations and target groups, that is also possible.

• Salary in accordance with CAO Mental Health Care, classification in job group 45 or 50 depending on your education: €3,180 to €4,716 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of July 1, 2026.
• 8.33% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 44% at night, 38% to 49% on Saturday, and 60% on Sunday and public holidays. A Sunday shift therefore yields up to €44.43 per hour.

• A contract with fixed hours if you want that, from 16 to 36 hours per week. If you would rather be completely free, that is also possible.
• Holiday allowance, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual. Simply arranged.
• A fixed contact person who knows you by name and who answers when you call.

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Nursing with a valid BIG registration.
• Experience with complex psychiatric and addiction issues.
• You are strong in observing, identifying, and clinical reasoning.
• You communicate clearly and act professionally under pressure.
• You are willing to work irregular shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• You possess a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) or are willing to apply for one.
• Experience in HIC (High Intensity Care) wards is a plus.
