Youth Care Worker Foster Care | Temporary Replacement | 24-36 hours | Venlo/Roermond

Are you a committed professional who believes in the power of families? Do you want to work in an organization that shapes foster care in an innovative and connecting way? We are looking for a youth care worker for a temporary maternity replacement.

At Pactum in the Venlo/Roermond region, you won't just be working in foster care. We are fully engaged in the implementation of the Mockingbird model, an innovative approach that connects foster families with one another. In this model, six to ten foster families form a network together, supported by an experienced hub-home foster parent and a Mockingbird facilitator from Pactum. This creates more support, connection, and stability for foster families and children. As a foster care worker, you play an important role within this network.

As a youth care worker, you guide foster children, foster parents, and biological parents. You work on sustainable placements, support family dynamics, and contribute to a safe, stable living environment. You are actively involved in various forms of foster care: from emergency placements to perspective-providing care, and from partial foster care to network placements.

What you do:

• Guiding foster families and foster children in their daily lives.

• Drafting and implementing assistance plans.

• Organizing and guiding contact between the child and biological parents.

• Identifying bottlenecks and coordinating appropriate assistance.

• Intensively collaborating with chain partners such as schools, municipalities, and care providers.

• A completed HBO degree (SPH, Pedagogy, Social Work, Applied Psychology).

• A valid SKJ registration.

• Experience with outpatient work, preferably in foster care.

• Knowledge of system-oriented working.

• Driver's license B and possession of a car.

• A temporary contract to replace maternity leave. We will determine the hours together with you.

• Salary according to the CAO Jeugdzorg based on relevant work experience;
  -Youth Care Worker B in scale 9: €3,309 - €4,943 (based on 36 hours).

• Education and training offerings to maintain your SKJ registration and further your development. We will look at suitable training in consultation.
