For Bellesteijn in Wassenaar, we have space for a Care Assistant (Plus) who contributes to the daily lives of our residents with warmth, attention, and joy.

As a Care Assistant (Plus), you support residents with their daily care and well-being. You look at what someone can do themselves and encourage residents to maintain as much of their own autonomy as possible. You offer structure, recognition, and personal attention. In this way, you help contribute to a familiar environment in which residents feel safe and at home.

You will do this by

• Supporting residents with their personal care and daily activities;

• Performing appropriate care tasks, including the care tasks that fall within your competence as a Care Assistant (Plus);

• Encouraging residents to continue doing as much as possible themselves;

• Creating a homely atmosphere and paying attention to the well-being of residents;

• Identifying changes in behavior or health and discussing them with your colleagues;

• Working together with your colleagues to ensure personal care, pleasant moments, and a nice day for every resident.

At Bellesteijn, we offer small-scale care to people with dementia. Six residents live per department. You get to know them well and know what is important to them. Due to the small scale, there is room for personal attention, recognition, and a familiar daily structure.

You work in a dedicated team where you can count on one another. Together, you ensure a pleasant living environment and care that aligns with the needs and possibilities of every resident.

You work in eight-hour shifts. The shifts are during the day, in the evening, and on the weekend.

You are caring, patient, and have an eye for the person behind the care request. You find it important that residents feel seen and heard. You can work independently, take responsibility, and seek collaboration with your colleagues where necessary.
