For Willibrord in the center of Wassenaar, we have space for a Care Assistant (Plus) who contributes to the daily lives of our residents with warmth, attention, and joy.

As a Care Assistant (Plus), you support residents with their daily care and well-being. You look at what someone can do themselves and what they enjoy, and you encourage residents to maintain as much of their own autonomy as possible. You provide structure, personal attention, and a familiar environment in which residents feel at home.

You will do this by

• Supporting residents with their personal care and daily activities;

• Performing care tasks that match your education and qualifications;

• Encouraging residents to continue doing as much as possible themselves;

• Contributing to a homely atmosphere in the communal living room;

• Identifying changes in the well-being, behavior, or health of residents and discussing them with your colleagues;

• Working together with your colleagues to ensure personal care and a pleasant day for every resident.

Willibrord is a nursing home in the center of Wassenaar for people with dementia or a somatic indication. You will find loving care in a homely environment. Just like at home, only with fewer worries.

Willibrord consists of three small-scale residential locations. Six residents live per unit, each with their own apartment and bathroom. Additionally, there is a communal living room with a kitchen, where residents can meet each other and spend the day together.

Because of the small scale, you get to know the residents well. You know what their habits are, what they enjoy, and where they need support. Together with your colleagues, you ensure a familiar environment in which residents can be themselves.

You are caring, patient, and have an eye for the person behind the care requirement. You find it important that residents feel seen and heard. You can work independently, take responsibility, and enjoy working together with colleagues.

Additionally:

• Do you have a Care and Welfare Assistant diploma? Do you also have the Care Assistant Plus certificate? Then that is a wonderful addition;

• Do you have an affinity with people with dementia and/or a somatic care requirement;

• Are you flexibly deployable for day, evening, and weekend shifts;

• Do you like to contribute to a homely atmosphere and personal care.

• A challenging and varied position in a small-scale professional organization;

• A close-knit team with short lines of communication and a pleasant, informal culture;

• A contract of 24 to 36 hours per week for a fixed term with the intention of converting this to an indefinite term, working days in consultation;

• A salary according to the CAO Verpleeg- en Verzorgingshuizen & Thuiszorg FWG 25 or 30 between €2,599. - €3,410 (at 36 hours);

• Holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33% of the gross annual salary;

• Flexible benefits system (for example, for the purchase of an electric bike or the purchase of extra leave days;

• Travel allowance;

• A pension scheme with the Zorg en Welzijn pension fund.
