What we're looking for
A completed HBO/WO degree in the direction of Facility Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a comparable education.
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within facilities or a comparable environment.
Experience with team development, cultural change, and building strong teams.
Experience with guiding change processes.
You combine people-oriented leadership with result-oriented management.
You are connecting, clear, and able to provide direction.
The role
You know how to engage people in facility services and you are a connector and builder who makes hospitality tangible and visible.
Do you see what is needed to be able to deliver qualitative facility services and hospitality, and do you have a warm heart for people? Are you a strong, connecting leader who not only achieves results, but also actively builds a strong team culture based on a clear vision of facility services? Then we are looking for you!
What you'll do
Your new workplace is located in the middle of the woods in Doorn. A beautiful green, open, and accessible environment where residents, clients, loved ones, and professionals live, work, and reside. An environment that is tailored in detail to their wishes and needs. Because when you are visually impaired or blind, good facilities and appropriate interior design are extra important. You understand that like no one else. You also know that an environment like this requires a lot of care and attention. There is always something to do or to improve.
As Facilities Team Manager, you are integrally responsible for the facility services and the development of your team, consisting of hosts, Service Point employees, Facilities and Logistics Advisor. You not only ensure that the daily operations run smoothly, but you also actively build a strong, learning, and future-oriented team culture.
Together, you ensure that the facility services run like clockwork and that employees and clients can rely on a pleasant and safe work and living environment every day. You will work at our location in Doorn, but you have a national responsibility for all Bartiméus locations, which offer various functions such as a living environment, diagnostic center, education, day centers, and offices.
You build purposefully toward a strong and professional team in which taking ownership and collaboration are a matter of course.
You stimulate a safe culture of approachability and ensure a work environment in which people continue to grow and develop.
You actively involve the team in changes and ensure that core values become visible in daily actions.
You switch effortlessly with internal and external partners.
You translate organizational goals into facility vision, policy, and plans.
You connect facility services with care and real estate in relation to national developments such as the Greendeal (waste reduction, sustainability, fleet management, and cleaning) and translate this into concrete projects, frameworks, and behavior.
You convert organizational goals into concrete plans and quality standards and respond sharply to trends and developments.
You manage strictly on budget, quality, and continuity and ensure a healthy, future-proof business operation.
You focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable solutions in processes and services, including the establishment of a Product and Service Catalog (PDC), KPIs, and management information.
