Ensuring our elderly residents have a pleasant and safe day. That is exactly what you were made for.
When Ada hears your voice, a smile appears on her face. She knows that you not only help with daily care, but also have an eye for her well-being. While helping her dress, you have a chat, notice small changes, and know when to act or when to simply take a moment. Whether you are a Care Assistant or a Care Assistant Plus: your attention makes the difference.
The Henriëtte van Heemstra Huis is located on the edge of Parc Viventra and is a residential care location for seniors aged 65 and over with a visual impairment. The Henriëtte van Heemstra Huis consists of five departments with a total of 42 studios and 8 apartments. Residents receive the specific care, support, and guidance they need.
You provide daily care and guidance to residents according to the care or treatment plan. You stimulate their self-reliance and actively contribute to their well-being. The work is engaging and sometimes intensive. Therefore, we find it important that you maintain control over your own work-life balance and work in a team where collaboration, learning, and reflection are central.
As a Care Assistant, you focus on the daily care, guidance, and well-being of residents.
As a Care Assistant Plus, you have additional responsibilities, such as:

Assisting with (co-)administering medication
