The role
Dreams, ideals & ambitions. At Bartiméus, you turn your ambition into your daily work.
Are you a proactive and organized go-getter? Do you get energy from structure, creating overview, and supporting colleagues in their activities? Are you looking for a position in which you can truly make a difference with your organizational talent and sense of overview? Then we would love to meet you!
What you'll do
Questions from employees or clients? You answer them. A mailbox full of information and requests? You assess, structure, and prioritize. Thanks to you, everything is well organized and everyone has the right information at the right time. You work in a pleasant, open working atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to develop yourself. You are at home in all markets and, in your role, you ensure the scheduling of appointments for clients, support projects, and monitor processes. You work for the Central region secretariat and work together with various colleagues from other regions. Additionally, you will work on:
Performing administrative tasks, such as processing letters and reports.
Maintaining contact with (parents of) clients, practitioners, and specialists.
Calendar management for the professional team surrounding a client. You will do this from our office in Zeist.
Your role as a secretariat assistant
We have two vacancies:
A vacancy for 32 hours per week for the Central region secretariat, based in Zeist.
A vacancy for 24 hours, of which 16 hours are for the Central region (Zeist) and 8 hours are for the West region (Rotterdam/ Amsterdam). During the induction period (2 to 3 months), we require full availability at our location in Amsterdam. In the future, flexibility is desired to be able to be present in Amsterdam in case of emergencies/force majeure.
We are Bartiméus
We are Bartiméus. With approximately 1,900 employees and over 850 volunteers, we are there for all people in the Netherlands who are visually impaired or blind. Also if they have a multiple disability or experience problems with seeing due to, for example, non-congenital brain injury. We are there for their loved ones and for the professionals around them. They can turn to our expertise center, our outpatient services, our schools and residential facilities, and the various forms of day activities that we offer. We do everything in our power to make it possible for people with a visual impairment to lead the life that suits them and to develop themselves fully. Because it is not about what percentage you see. It is about what percentage you live. Bartiméus. 100% living.
Who are you?
You are flexible and stress-resistant. Making people happy gives you energy. A visually impaired client with an urgent question finds a listening ear and an answer in you. An outpatient caregiver with a problem can rely on your solution-oriented approach, and a colleague with a huge mountain of work, you simply help out for a moment. You enjoy working in a team, but also like to take on matters independently. You are accurate in your work and like to work proactively. You also have:
An MBO 4 diploma, preferably in an administrative or secretarial direction.
Experience as a secretariat assistant.
Experience working with Microsoft Office and Teams.
Experience with frequent telephone contact (and handle it professionally).
What do we offer you?
A challenging job where you truly make a difference for a special target group.
A permanent contract, for 24 - 32 hours per week.
A salary appropriate to your experience, based on the CAO Gehandicaptenzorg FWG 35 (with a maximum of €3708 per month based on 36 hours).
Holiday allowance of 8%, an end-of-year bonus of 8.33% and an attractive multi-choice system of employment conditions, with which you benefit from tax advantages on the purchase of, among other things, a (lease) bike, sports subscriptions, outings, museum annual pass, and gift vouchers.
Plenty of development and career advancement opportunities in the form of an extensive induction program and an online offering of supporting training from ‘GoodHabitz’.
