Radio Bartje Volunteer

Will you create special radio broadcasts together with our clients who are blind or visually impaired?

Playing music, sharing stories, laughing together, and making something beautiful for our listeners. At Radio Bartje, it is about much more than just radio. It is a place where Bartiméus clients can express their creativity, discover new skills, and proudly create their own broadcasts.

For many participants, the weekly radio moment is a highlight of the week. As a volunteer, you play a valuable role in this. You are present, help where necessary, and together with the participants and supervisors, ensure a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to your contribution, residents can do what makes them happy: letting their voices be heard.

Your help will consist of:

• Supporting the regular radio makers during the radio broadcasts in Zeist.

• Helping to set up equipment.

• Uploading previous broadcasts so they can be listened to again.

• Providing practical support to participants and supervisors during broadcasts.

• You are enthusiastic and involved.

• An affinity with radio, media, or technology is fun, but certainly not a requirement.

• You enjoy working together with people who are blind or visually impaired.

• You are available on Mondays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at our location in Zeist.

• A volunteer role in which you are truly meaningful.

• Special encounters and beautiful conversations.

• A look behind the scenes of a unique radio station.

• Much appreciation from participants, listeners, and colleagues.

• The conviviality of an enthusiastic radio team.

Good to know: this volunteer position can also be filled by two volunteers. We are looking for someone who can help with the live broadcast on Monday in Zeist between 6 PM and 8 PM, and someone for uploading old broadcasts. The latter can be at a time to be determined by you, but also during the broadcast on Monday.

Will you make our clients shine? Do you want to contribute to a place where clients can show themselves, be heard, and above all, have a lot of fun? Together, we make every day something special again!

Responding is very simple. Click on the link below and the rest will take care of itself.
