Requirements
What we're looking for
You are practically minded and see work that needs to be done. You don't always wait for someone to ask you to do something. Do you see that something is defective or could be improved? Then you get to work on it. You enjoy helping colleagues and can make good arrangements with suppliers. You maintain an overview, think ahead, and enjoy arranging things.
You have experience within building management and technical or facility environments. You don't need to be a specialist in all installations, but you understand how technical systems work and when you need to take action or call for help. You possess a driver's license.
Pay & benefits
What you'll get
You will receive an independent position with a lot of freedom and responsibility within an organization that stands in the middle of society. You will work together with committed colleagues and suppliers. You see the direct result of your work every day. Because when you do your job well, the rest of the organization can continue undisturbed.
Working in a fun team at the largest regional broadcaster in the Netherlands
A one-year contract of 32-36 hours per week
A good salary in scale F between €3,032.79 and €4,241.24
Conditions according to the CAO for Broadcasting Personnel
Great employment conditions, such as an end-of-year bonus, a contribution to your health insurance, and a gym membership
Plenty of (training) opportunities to further develop yourself as a person and as a professional
The role
At Omroep Gelderland, we create radio, television, online stories, and podcasts for all of Gelderland every single day. We can only do that if our working environment functions well. From buildings and installations to access management and the vehicle fleet.
What you'll do
That is why we are looking for a Building Management & Facilities Employee. In this role, you are the primary point of contact for everything related to our location. You maintain an overview, monitor annual plans, and ensure things are arranged. Sometimes you solve something yourself and sometimes you call in a supplier. Whatever it is: you make sure it happens.
You are the man or woman colleagues approach when something needs to be arranged. You direct where necessary, but you also find it perfectly normal to perform a technical repair yourself, move a cupboard, or make a trip to a recording location.
You ensure the building and grounds are tidy, well-maintained, and safe
You handle malfunctions and reports and maintain the building management system
Small task? You do it yourself if possible
Larger task? Then you call in a supplier
Supplier called in? You let them in, guide them, and check their work
You manage, among other things, keys, access passes, and waste streams
You arrange matters regarding our cars and vans
You help colleagues with facility-related questions
You are one of our emergency response officers (BHV)
You work in day shifts and are flexible when necessary for the service
You participate in on-call shifts
Our core values
Responsible foresight you think ahead and handle your work carefully
Energy in connection you enjoy working together and helping colleagues
Ownership with impact you see what needs to be done and take action
Adventurous curiosity you are open to new ideas and solutions
Always relevant you look at what is needed and what truly helps
