About VIGO
In their own words
About the company & team
As care coordinator, you will partly work within the regular care schedule and be partly responsible for the coordination of care and guidance within the hybrid learning department. You coach, stimulate, and support the supervisors and nurses in the team, who act as learning coaches for our colleagues in training. They can rely on you for questions or when they need help guiding clients in the areas of mental and somatic health, daily activities, and social contacts. In this, the client's possibilities and self-direction are central.
Together with the lead practitioners, team leader, and manager, you safeguard the quality and safety of care and support within the department.
You work closely with colleagues in training in guiding, caring for, and nursing clients with psychosocial or psychiatric issues. You respond to requests for help, act in crisis situations, and work towards normalization. Together with the clients, you work on dealing with their behavior and symptoms and encourage them to take control of their own lives. Building and maintaining a relationship of trust with the client is of great importance here.
Within the hybrid learning department, you provide individual and group-oriented guidance to the participants. You facilitate reflective practical experiences, stimulate self-reflection, and guide self-directed learning. You have a coaching role in drafting and implementing individual learning plans. When translating theoretical knowledge into practice, you offer support and stimulate the application of evidence-based working. Together with the other Mental Health Learning Coaches, you promote a positive and inclusive learning culture through coaching, feedback, and collaboration. Additionally, you make a valuable contribution to the development and implementation of learning interventions and programs, with the aim of optimizing the learning experience.
You work at the LBV (Long-term Care and Residency), a clinical living arrangement with a diverse client base in terms of issues and age. Providing a safe, person-centered living and life environment is central here. LBV consists of four units, each with two residential units. On average, six clients reside per residential unit in an open or closed setting, where they receive intensive guidance and treatment. The hybrid learning environment is active on two of these four units.
