You are a level 4 nurse and possess a valid BIG registration.
You possess good communication skills and the ability to build a relationship of trust with clients.
You are able to work independently and make decisions within established guidelines.

Nice to have

You have experience and/or affinity with psychiatric issues in the elderly.

What you'll get

Scaling in accordance with CAO GGZ FWG 45, a minimum of €3180 and a maximum of €4273 for a full-time employment.
A permanent contract for 24 – 32 hours per week.
A nice workplace in Venray.

Geriatric Clinic is a department for clients aged 65+ with acute psychiatric issues. You provide recovery-oriented care in a safe environment, with attention to both physical and mental health.

What you'll do

Providing person-centered care and guidance to elderly clients with psychiatric issues.
Creating a safe and supportive environment in which clients can find peace and recover.
Performing nursing technical procedures such as administering medication, wound care, and observing health status.
Identifying changes in behavior and health and taking action accordingly.
Collaborating with colleagues and other disciplines within the treatment team.
Supporting the drafting and implementation of care plans.
Stimulating independence and providing guidance with daily skills.
Sharing practical knowledge with colleagues and contributing to good cooperation within the network surrounding the client.
Actively contributing to the development of the team and the quality of care.
