What we're looking for

A completed MBO level 4 or HBO nursing education.
You have an affinity for seniors with severe psychiatric disorders where the recovery process has stagnated.
Good communication skills and the ability to switch gears quickly.
A calm and professional attitude, even under pressure, with which you offer clients the necessary peace and security.
Experience within psychiatry is a plus.

What you'll do

The activities take place within a specialized residential and treatment environment for seniors with long-term psychiatric problems. The care is organized according to the ART model, working towards recovery, perspective, and quality of life. Within the location, a multidisciplinary approach is central, and there is an active focus on supporting clients in regaining their own autonomy, even when the recovery process has stalled for a long time.

Providing nursing care and guidance.
Supporting clients in recovery and regaining autonomy.
Identifying changes in psychological and physical condition.
Executing and evaluating care and treatment plans.
Collaborating with practitioners, loved ones, and other involved disciplines.

You choose for yourself which location you want to work in. If you want a fixed group and to build a bond, that is possible. If you prefer to alternate between locations and target groups, that is also possible.

What you earn

Salary in accordance with CAO Mental Health Care, classification in job group 45 or 50 depending on your education: €3,180 to €4,716 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of July 1, 2026.
8.33% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 44% at night, 38% to 49% on Saturday, and 60% on Sunday and public holidays. A Sunday shift therefore yields up to €44.43 per hour.
