Nurse

• Nursing Diploma A/4/5 and BIG-registered

• At least 2 years of recent practical experience (pre- and postoperative care) in a general hospital or ZBC. Bergman Clinics facilitates mandatory BHV

• Affinity and/or relevant work experience in orthopedics

• Salary based on knowledge and work experience between €3,252 and €4,770 gross per month (FWG 45) based on 40 hours in accordance with the ZKN collective labor agreement

• An end-of-year bonus of 8.33% and holiday allowance of 8.33%

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer with a maximum of 80 km (one way). Do you travel by public transport? Then we reimburse these costs fully

After treatment, a portion of our clients remains on the nursing ward. Hospitality, excellent service, and good care go hand in hand here to achieve the best recovery results. As a nurse, you guide the client from admission through to discharge. After a short induction period on the ward, you will be immediately deployed across all shifts. Through your experience in healthcare, you know exactly what is required. For you, a client is not just anyone. In this position at Bergman Clinics, you will receive plenty of space for 1-on-1 contact with clients.

• You will work in a varied schedule with day, evening, and night shifts. Good to know: the clinic is closed on public holidays, meaning you are off on these days.

• You are not deterred by a high turnover

• You are available between 24 - 28 hours

What will you do?

• Monitoring, observing, and checking an operated client on the nursing ward

• Reporting on care provided and handing this over according to procedure

• Providing postoperative information regarding, among other things, rehabilitation, wound care, relevant telephone numbers, postoperative complications, and medication use

• Coordinating, planning, executing, and evaluating nursing care in a welcoming and professional manner

• Together with the medical specialists (orthopedists, gynecologists), anesthesiologists, OR staff, and the outpatient clinic, you will make an active contribution to improvements/developments concerning the entire care process.

• Pro-actively thinking along about the design of work processes on the nursing ward that is still to be developed in our new clinic. We are looking for Nurses who enjoy contributing to quality processes regarding VIM, BHV, protocols, etc.

Employment conditions

Your workplace is our brand-new clinic in Capelle a/d IJssel, where various divisions of Bergman Clinics come together. In this completely new, state-of-the-art clinic, we have four ORs, our own MRI, and approximately 35 beds. Since May 1, 2025, our focus clinic Bewegen has been located in this new modern complex, where we offer the full palette of orthopedic treatments in the fields of knee, hip, foot, and sports injuries.

The current nursing team consists of 3 general nurses who work permanently on the nursing ward. Additionally, about 15 specialized nurses work in holding, recovery, and the nursing ward. Everything revolves around focus and (super)specialization within orthopedic surgery. There is an open atmosphere where patients feel welcome as soon as they step over the threshold. Our employees have a listening ear for patients and for each other. Consultation is highly valued by us. Putting our shoulders to the wheel together and getting things done, that is our mentality. Our orthopedists specialize in the treatment of knee, hip, hand/wrist, foot/ankle, and shoulder conditions. Additionally, our gynecologists will also make use of the OR complex, meaning this patient group will also be admitted to the nursing ward.
