About VIGO
In their own words
About the company & team
Within the Addiction Care of Vincent van Gogh, addiction is central, but we explicitly look beyond just the addiction issues. Increasingly, we treat clients with complex and multiple problems, where in addition to addiction, there may also be trauma, personality issues, anxiety and mood disorders, neurobiological developmental disorders, or other psychiatric conditions. It is precisely because of this that your knowledge and skills as a GZ-psychologist are optimally utilized, and we offer the client the right care at the right time.
Whether your preference is for outpatient treatment, day treatment, or clinical care, there are multiple possibilities to start within our addiction care. For those with a specific interest in the clinical and day treatment setting: Within these departments, we work from the schema-focused approach SafePath, in which a safe and recovery-oriented treatment climate is central. As a GZ-psychologist, you will not only be challenged to be actively involved in the treatment of clients, but you will also get the chance to help build the further development and safeguarding of the treatment climate and the methodology. In doing so, you combine direct client care with substantive innovation and quality development.
The team consists of, among others, clinical psychologists, addiction physicians, GZ-psychologists, psychiatrists, system therapists, nurse practitioners, (social psychiatric) nurses, cognitive behavioral therapists, mental health professionals (GGZ-agogen), and administrative staff. We are a committed team in which there is room for individual initiative, professional autonomy, and collective development.
Together, we will look for a workplace and role that align with your experience, interests, and ambitions.
