What will you do?

  • Emergency care: You receive, stabilize, and treat emergency patients (both primary and secondary care).

  • Admission care: You monitor and treat patients during their admission to our intensive care unit.

  • Collaboration: You work intensively with internal specialists and maintain short lines of communication with referrers and pet owners. Every morning there is a multidisciplinary consultation where patients are discussed.

  • 24/7 roster: The department operates on a 4-week roster, in which you are flexibly deployable for day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays.

What do we offer you?

  • A dynamic and educational team: Work with a close-knit and driven team of veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and support staff who support each other and learn from one another.

  • Modern working environment: We offer you the latest facilities and technology to provide the best care.

  • Tailor-made induction process: Depending on your experience and wishes, we offer an induction program with guidance from a mentor.

  • Extensive continuing education budget: We encourage you to further expand your knowledge with our extensive continuing education program.

  • 24/7 support: There is always someone you can consult or fall back on, so you are not alone.

Who are we looking for?

  • A graduated veterinary surgeon with a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

  • A veterinary surgeon with a valid registration in the CIBG register

  • Someone with a passion for companion animals and who gets enthusiastic about solving medical questions.

  • Strong communicator: You enjoy working with colleagues and have an open, efficient communication style with both referrers and pet owners.

  • Committed and professional: You are a team player who always strives for the best care and wants to continuously develop.

  • Flexible: You are willing to work according to a 4-week 24/7 roster and enjoy taking responsibility for your patients.
