What we're looking for

You have a completed university degree (WO) in Psychology and some work experience as a psychologist, preferably within healthcare or lifestyle guidance. You have an affinity for lifestyle change, behavioral coaching, and group dynamics. You also have an open, coaching attitude and excellent communication skills. Commitment and integrity suit you, and you are well able to define your own boundaries.

The role

What you'll do

you provide psychological interventions within the NOK treatment programs;

you facilitate group sessions focused on behavioral change, eating behavior, self-image, and acceptance;

you provide patients and clients with the tools to take responsibility for their own lifestyle;

you provide, where necessary, information or referral for underlying psychological issues.

Our practitioners work more emphatically from a coaching role, while maintaining their own professional expertise. This means that you work not only as a psychologist but also as a lifestyle coach within NOK Clinics: you inspire, motivate, and support people in making and maintaining healthy choices.

About the company & team

The Nederlandse Obesitas Kliniek (NOK) is the largest and most specialized independent clinic in the Netherlands for the treatment of people with severe obesity. For more than 25 years, we have successfully guided people toward a healthier weight through bariatric surgery or one of our other treatments in combination with lifestyle guidance and coaching.
