As a residential care worker, you contribute to an optimal living environment for clients. You do this by cleaning their home together with the client, doing groceries together, and doing the laundry together. The emphasis of the residential care worker role lies on providing guidance with these tasks surrounding the client's living environment. You also assist clients with showering if necessary. Additionally, in consultation, you are present during breakfast, coffee moments, and lunch. During these moments, you encourage clients in performing practical matters such as setting the table, clearing away, and cleaning. In consultation, other tasks may also be requested of you by the residential support team. The foundation is the bond of trust that you build with clients.
Ter Wheme is a modern building in the green, quiet Scherpenzeel, but is simultaneously located in the middle of the center. All amenities such as shops, GP, physiotherapist, pharmacy, sports clubs, and day activities are within walking distance. The bus stop is literally at the door. At the end of 2024, the building was completely renovated, meaning residents and employees now live and work in a modern and comfortable environment.
The location consists of 29 studios and apartments with private sanitary facilities. We offer tailored guidance, both individually and in groups. Think of drinking coffee together, eating together, and activation. The degree of structure varies per resident: some clients live independently, others need more daily support. There is a common area where residents gather frequently.
The team consists of personal and residential support workers, night watchmen, support staff, residential care workers, and domestic staff.
