The role
This is what you will do:
As a Care & Welfare Assistant, you help residents with dressing and undressing, washing and showering, eating and drinking, and daily care.
You know your residents and have an eye for what they need. You make time for a chat, help with cooking and activities, and contribute to a warm, homely atmosphere. You encourage residents to do as much as possible themselves and to maintain their own autonomy.
This will be your workplace:
Gerard Goossen is a small-scale residential location for residents with dementia (PG). You work in a close-knit, small team where you know each other and are jointly responsible for both care and welfare.
With us:
you work on a small-scale and personal basis;
you have a lot of attention for warm, loving care;
you are actively involved in cooking, activities, and daytime activities;
you look at the individual experience of residents;
you work in a close-knit and committed team;
you get space to think along and develop yourself.
Gerard Goossen is located just a 3-minute walk from the Hesseplaats metro station. The shopping center is also approximately a 3-minute walk away. You can park for free in the neighborhood.
This is you:
You are involved, independent, and flexible. You see the person behind the resident and find it important to offer attention and sociability alongside good care.
You enjoy collaborating, communicate easily, and think in terms of possibilities. Good care sometimes requires looking at things just a little differently. Are you someone who bends the rules? Then you will fit right in at Humanitas.
Furthermore:
you have a Care & Welfare Assistant level 2 diploma;
you can work independently and take responsibility;
you honor agreements.
This is what you will receive from us:
At Stichting Humanitas, we believe it is important that you can do your work with pleasure and confidence. Therefore, you can count on good employment conditions and the space to continue developing yourself:
a salary according to CAO VVT, FWG 25: € 16.61 to € 20.66 gross per hour, up to a maximum of €3,124.01 gross per month based on 36 hours;

Pension via Zorg en Welzijn;
Training and career advancement opportunities;
Bicycle plan, also for an e-bike;
