In the night, everything seems to slow down. The bustle of the day gives way to peace, to silence, to recovery. But precisely in those hours when the world sleeps, there are people who need your presence. Not always active, not always visible, but certainly felt. At the Vooronder location in Huizen, we are looking for such a person, a sleep watch. Someone who, from a position of calm and alertness, watches over the night and ensures that our residents feel safe and cared for.
Your shift starts at 9:45 PM with a handover. You stay overnight at the location and usually sleep undisturbed in a separate room, but you remain alert and available if help is needed. You monitor the day and night rhythm, ensure peace and safety, and serve as the point of contact for our residents. In case of problems, you act quickly and effectively, with the possibility to always consult colleagues on the on-call service. In the morning, you support clients with medication and personal care, carry out the handover to the day team at 8:30 AM, and conclude your shift around 8:45 AM. This way, you go home with a sense of fulfillment, knowing that you have played an important role.
Are you that calm force that gives our clients confidence during the night? Do you want to work in a place where your presence truly makes a difference? Apply now and become part of our dedicated team. We are looking for a sleep watch for 8 to 16 hours per week.
In unexpected situations, you are able to act in an appropriate manner.
You possess a well-developed sense of responsibility.
You are flexibly available, including weekends.
Within Kwintes, we work with independent teams. For this vacancy, we are therefore looking for a proactive and independent colleague.
Enthusiastic? We look forward to your response via our website. You will receive an initial response from us within 2 working days. Would you prefer more information first? Feel free to contact Wendy van der Vlis via wendy.vandervlis@kwintes.nl; she would be happy to tell you more!
The procedure consists of 2 interviews; the 1st interview is with the recruiter and the 2nd interview is on-site with 1 or 2 colleagues and a client. If applicable, a shadowing moment and the employment conditions interview will follow. Upon employment, we request a VOG (certificate of good conduct). This vacancy is posted both internally and externally. In the event of equal suitability, the internal candidate will have priority.
Nice position, right? We expect to fill this ourselves, and we find recruitment agencies to be a waste of your and our time.
