The role

For our location on Lubeckstraat in Lelystad, we are looking for an enthusiastic residential support worker to join our team immediately!

What you'll do

As a residential support worker, you have an active role in the daily activities within the residential setting. You ensure that the client can function well in their immediate environment. Based on established plans, you provide guidance and support. You identify (increasing) problems and administer medication. You facilitate conversations/activities within the group and ensure that clients live together in a good manner. You build a bond of trust with clients and offer practical help where necessary, for example, by cleaning the home together and supporting them with activities of daily living. You also contribute to administration, registration, and reporting.

Your workplace

You will work at the Lubeckstraat location in Lelystad. At this protected residential location, guidance is provided to an average of 34 young people with and without autism, where behavioral issues also occur. The average age is between 18 and 26 years. We are a transitional location, but we also offer WLZ care to a number of clients; these individuals live long-term within the building and are older. The clients live either in a single-person apartment or in one of the two groups. We are a dynamic team that likes to get stuck in and is motivated. The team consists of 19 colleagues, with whom you will work interchangeably alongside residential support workers, personal counselors, residential care workers, and external healthcare providers.

What you bring

As a residential support worker, you maintain an effortless overview. You switch gears quickly, take responsibility independently, and actively seek collaboration. You provide structure and clarity, act decisively, and easily adapt to the needs of the client. With strong communication techniques and a steady presence, you respond directly to what is happening. You think ahead, bring in new ideas, and help the team grow.

  • A completed MBO level 4 healthcare education.

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.

  • Experience or a strong affinity with youth with mental healthcare (GGZ) issues.

  • Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and psychosocial issues is a great advantage.

  • You are willing to work varying shifts.

We offer

  • A job in which you make a difference every day!

  • A salary between €2,888 and €3,917 based on 36 hours (CAO GGZ, FWG 40).

  • Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.

  • In addition to the statutory 8.33% holiday allowance, you will receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, and at Kwintes, we offer a balance budget of €1000 gross per year pro rata to your employment.

  • An excellent pension scheme in which Kwintes contributes 50% and the possibility to lease a new (electric) bicycle.

  • A wide range of education, training, and coaching; both through our Learning & Development department and via external parties.

Enthusiastic? We look forward to your response via our website. You will receive an initial response from us within a few working days. Would you prefer more information first? Please feel free to contact the recruiter Nilas at nilas.klein@kwintes.nl; he will be happy to tell you more!

The procedure consists of 2 interviews. If applicable, a shadowing period and the employment conditions interview will follow. Upon employment, we request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). This vacancy is posted both internally and externally.
Nice position, right? We expect to fill this ourselves, and we find recruitment agencies to be a waste of your and our time.
