Do you enjoy using your expertise to support teams and colleagues, providing both requested and unsolicited advice on complex cases? Are you analytical, flexible, and do you see it as a challenge to work together with teams to offer appropriate guidance to clients with complex psychiatric and psychosocial problems? For the Flevoland region, we are looking for an enthusiastic and expert behavioral specialist for 16-18 hours per week.
Within Kwintes, we are increasingly dealing with complex situations regarding the intake, residence, and discharge of clients. As a behavioral specialist, you will make an important contribution to the quality of care and support through your expertise.
You work at the client, team, and organizational levels and move between different teams, target groups, and locations in Flevoland, including Emmeloord, Lelystad, Urk, Dronten, and Almere. You look at the physical and mental well-being of clients, their social networks, and the context in which they live and function. At the same time, you keep an eye on the dynamics, possibilities, and developmental needs within teams.
You support teams with complex casework and think along about appropriate guidance strategies regarding, among other things, psychiatry, addiction, and combined problems. You adapt to different teams and the task maturity of employees, switch between guidance styles, and translate your expertise into practical advice for daily guidance.
You think broadly, but remain close to practice. Together with the team, you map out the care trajectory, evaluate progress, and adjust where necessary. You are an important sparring partner for caregivers, personal assistants, care managers, and other involved professionals. Where necessary, you maintain contact with external practitioners and chain partners, for example in complex or crisis situations.
Additionally, you identify developments within care and psychiatry and translate these into practice. You contribute to professional development by sharing knowledge through, for example, workshops, clinical lessons, and case discussions.
Your base is De Meent 2B in Lelystad. From there, you will work at various locations within Flevoland. Because you work with different teams, locations, and target groups within the region, it is important that you are flexible and can switch easily. No team and no client situation is the same. You find it interesting to connect different perspectives and approaches and to align your expertise with what a team needs. You work closely with fellow behavioral specialists and other disciplines within Kwintes. Substantively, you report to the care manager and have an advisory and supportive role towards the teams based on your expertise.
