You find it no problem to switch from one task to another when the situation requires it;
You remain calm when an urgent task suddenly comes up with a hard deadline;
You collaborate pleasantly, ask for help when necessary, and are also ready to assist colleagues;
You have excellent command of Dutch and good command of English;

Pay & benefits
What you'll get
A varied role within an ambitious and collegial team with a salary that matches your experience (range: € 2,922 to € 4,708 gross per month based on a full-time employment of 40 hours per week), supplemented with good secondary employment conditions, including:
27 vacation days and an extensive mobility plan;
iPhone, laptop, and home working facilities;
A good pension scheme.
The role
Do you already have secretarial experience and do you want to work in an environment where no two days are the same? Do you love variety, do you work meticulously, and do you enjoy working together to ensure everything runs smoothly? Then you might be a perfect fit for us!
Our Amsterdam office is looking for a secretary for the Administrative Law department (7 lawyers). Together with your fellow secretary, you will keep the team running so that they can focus fully on their work.
You will join a compact and close-knit team where lines of communication are short and colleagues truly look out for one another. The bar is set high and challenging files are worked on, but there is also plenty of room for collaboration, humor, and personal contact. These are lawyers who not only expect high quality but also show that they appreciate your commitment. Because of this, from the very beginning, you will feel like a full member of the team, not someone standing on the sidelines.
What you'll do
Managing the shared secretarial mailbox and calendar planning;
Handling correspondence and procedural documents (drafting, checking, and sending);
Role administration and digital/physical file management;
Supporting client onboarding and administrative tasks;
Organizing knowledge sessions;
Mail processing, archiving, and other secretarial duties;
Supporting each other as backup and stepping in when necessary.
Who are you?
Familiarity with legal work and terminology is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. You will be given the time to be onboarded and to master the tasks.
