The role

If your clients teach you one thing, it is that there is always more possible than you think.

Do you want to play a key role in the lives of people with a visual and a mild intellectual disability? Are you someone who maintains an overview, knows how to connect colleagues, and helps residents to maintain as much control over their lives as possible? Then you will feel at home as a Coordinating Supervisor at de Traaij in Driebergen.

Here, you make a difference every day. Not only for the residents, but also for your colleagues. You see what someone needs, bring calm and structure, and ensure that all those involved work well together. In this way, you contribute to a safe living environment in which residents feel seen and can continue to develop.

What you'll do

In addition to guiding the residents, you are responsible for, among other things:

  • Drawing up, evaluating, and monitoring support plans.

  • Coordinating daily guidance and care.

  • Coordinating with relatives, practitioners, and other involved disciplines.

  • Representing the interests of the residents.

  • Coaching and supporting colleagues from your coordinating role.

  • Monitoring the quality and continuity of the guidance.

Requirements

Your job as Coordinating Supervisor at de Traaij in Driebergen

As Coordinating Supervisor, you are the connecting link between residents, relatives, colleagues, and the treatment team. You coordinate the guidance surrounding your residents and are the fixed point of contact for everyone involved. In addition, you work closely with the Coordinating Supervisor of Traaij floor 2 and Traaij apartments.

At de Traaij, in the heart of the center of Driebergen, people with a visual impairment in combination with a mild intellectual disability live. Some residents also have a physical disability or psychological and psychiatric issues. They can do many things independently, but also rely on your guidance, clarity, and sometimes help or support with care.

Structure, predictability, and proximity form the basis of your guidance. Together with your colleagues, you create an environment in which residents feel safe, can be themselves, and continue to make steps in their development.

You will be working on Traaij floor 1, where you will join a dedicated and close-knit team where eight residents, aged 46 to 66, each have their own studio. The atmosphere is open and cozy. Colleagues find each other easily, complement one another, and are ready to help each other. Together with the team leader and behavioral scientist, you work on the best possible guidance for every resident.

Who are you?

You are someone who radiates calm and maintains an overview, even when a lot is happening at once. You switch easily between different situations and know how to involve colleagues in a positive way. You look beyond the request for help alone and translate the needs of residents into appropriate guidance.

Naturally, you find it no problem to work irregular shifts and weekends. The shifts are from 07:00 to 10:00 or 07:00 to 14:00/15:00 and from 15:00/15:30 to 22:30.

Hours are scheduled weekly for your coordinating duties, so that you have sufficient space to perform this role well.
