Care Assistant Plus - District Nursing

As a Care Assistant Plus in Charlois and Feijenoord, you will travel independently to clients' homes. You help them to continue living independently and comfortably in their own environment for as long as possible. In doing so, you look beyond just the care needs and pay attention to the person behind the client.

During your route:

• You provide support with daily care (ADL);

• You help clients with taking medication according to the applicable agreements;

• You notice changes and discuss them with your colleagues;

• You make time for personal attention and a chat.

You work independently, but you are not alone. Your colleagues are always available for consultation.

You work within the district nursing of Humanitas in Charlois and Feijenoord. From our home care office in Hannie Dekhuijzen, you will travel to clients' homes.

No route is the same here. Charlois is a diverse neighborhood with a mix of older buildings, neighborhoods with an almost village character, and residents with different cultural backgrounds. Feijenoord has many older working-class homes, but also many renewed neighborhoods. Furthermore, many neighborhood organizations and resident initiatives are active in the district.

During your routes, you will therefore visit very different neighborhoods and different people's homes: from quiet residential streets to lively urban neighborhoods. The routes are designed to be clear and efficient.

You work in a close-knit team of district nurses, Caregivers IG, and Care Assistant Pluses. We know each other, have short lines of communication, and help each other. We find sociability, involvement, and taking shared responsibility for good care important.

You are independent, involved, and have a sincere interest in the people whose homes you visit. Many of our clients have a small social network or extra challenges in daily life in addition to their care needs. You therefore look beyond just the care moment and focus especially on what someone is still able to do.

You think in terms of possibilities and are open to developments within healthcare, such as care technology. Sometimes good care requires looking just a little differently. Are you someone who bends the rules and sometimes colors outside the lines? Then you fit well at Humanitas.

Furthermore:

• Do you have a diploma in Care & Welfare Assistant, supplemented with medication certification (Care Assistant Plus);

• Are you available for day and evening shifts and on weekends;

• Can you work independently and do you take responsibility;

• Do you follow agreements and can you switch well between different clients.

• a contract of 0-24 hours per week, in consultation;

• a salary according to CAO VVT, FWG 25: € 16.61 to € 20.66 gross per hour;
