Helping a resident start their day, laughing together at a small moment, or giving just that little bit of extra attention. As a Nurse (IG), you know how important it is to not only provide good care, but to truly see who someone is.

For the Sophieke nursing home in Wassenaar, we have a vacancy for a Nurse (IG) for 30 hours per week. You will work 8-hour shifts according to a roster and are available flexibly, including both day and evening shifts and weekends.

As a Nurse (IG) at Sophieke, you provide residents with somatic care needs the care and support they require. You look not only at what someone needs, but also at what someone can and wants to do themselves. You know the residents, have an eye for changes, and know how important personal attention is. Together with your colleagues, you ensure a safe, trusted environment in which residents feel comfortable.

You will do this by

• Supporting residents with their personal care and daily activities, with an eye for their wishes and possibilities;

• Performing nursing technical procedures that match your expertise and authorization;

• Identifying changes in the health and well-being of residents and taking action accordingly;

• Encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible and to maintain control over their own lives;

• Working together with colleagues, residents, and their loved ones on personal care that aligns with the needs of every resident.

Sophieke is a location of Amarosa in Wassenaar where residents live with physical ailments and disabilities. There are 34 rooms divided across four somatic departments.

Furthermore, you possess:

• A diploma as a Nurse (IG);

• Knowledge of procedures and protocols;

• Humor, tact, and flair;

• Good communication and writing skills.

• The position is classified in FWG 40 (min €2,981 max. €3,864 based on 36 hours);
