Apprentice Healthcare Assistant (IG) Work & Learn

As an apprentice Healthcare Assistant (IG), you ensure that our residents feel seen, heard, and safe. You provide support with personal care, daily activities, AND help contribute to a warm and trusted living environment.

During your training, you will also learn:

• Nursing technical procedures: medication, wound care, injections, and measuring vital signs;

• Conducting conversations, providing reassurance, and interacting with various target groups;

• Observing & reporting: signaling and recording changes in health

You learn in practice, continuously develop yourself, and truly make a difference in the lives of our residents!

You are motivated to learn AND to provide care to residents in one of our nursing homes and clients in home care.

• You have a Dutch diploma or an officially recognized international diploma at a minimum of MBO level 2.

We offer you!

• Job guarantee!

• A work-study agreement of 29.5 hours per week (including 1 school day) in flexible shifts, including day, evening, and weekend shifts;

• A salary according to the CAO Nursing and Care Homes & Home Care, classified in FWG 40 €2,811.- based on 36 hours for a full-time employment;

• You will go to school one day a week; a large part of your lesson time is paid;

• The training and books are fully reimbursed by Amarosa;

• Enthusiastic work supervision;

• Holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33% of the gross annual salary;

• Flexible benefits system (for example, for the purchase of an electric bicycle or the purchase of extra leave days;

• Travel allowance;

• A pension scheme with pension fund Zorg en Welzijn.
