What you'll do

As a Residential Care Assistant/VIG Nurse at Nebo, you make a difference for our residents every single day. You monitor the quality of care and well-being for our residents and support colleagues in daily practice. You coordinate care surrounding residents, maintain an overview, and act as a point of contact for family members, practitioners, and colleagues. You observe, signal, and report according to the care plan and know how to notice changes in the residents' situations in a timely manner. You monitor the agreements from the care plan and support the team with complex care questions. Additionally, you supervise students and interns and make an active contribution to the further development of the team.

Alongside care, you are also there for the small moments that make a big difference. Playing a game, having a cup of coffee together, or simply taking time for a conversation; you understand how important personal attention is for the well-being of our residents. You also provide support during meals where necessary and contribute to a pleasant and homely atmosphere in the department.

Your workplace

Nebo is located in a wooded area in The Hague's Benoordenhout. 114 residents with a PG indication live here. Our team consists of employees of various ages, backgrounds, and expertise, where individual initiative and ideas are valued. Residents receive support with care and treatment, but also in maintaining as normal a daily life as possible, just as they were used to at home. We work according to the principle of the Social Approach, where the person behind the condition is central. Thanks to our open-door policy and the application of facial recognition, residents who are capable of doing so independently receive as much freedom of movement as possible. For residents who require more guidance, we offer a safe and protected living environment. Additionally, Nebo features an experiential garden and we fulfill a regional crisis admission function, meaning no two days are the same.

Good to know

Nebo is located in the green and stately Hague district of Benoordenhout, directly next to Clingendael Park. You can park for free on our own premises and thanks to the favorable location, you are on the N44 or A12 within minutes. You can also make use of the Flexhopper, and a bus stop is located approximately a ten-minute walk from the location.

What it offers you

Salary in FWG 35 VVT collective labor agreement, depending on knowledge and experience, up to max. €3,592.96 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week
You receive an allowance if you work irregular shifts (ORT). The percentages depend on your hourly wage and the time at which you work an ORT shift, ranging from 22% to 60%
Pension accrual at Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn, 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% end-of-year bonus
