Scaling in accordance with CAO GGZ FWG 65. The salary amounts to a minimum of €5294 and a maximum of €6918 for a full-time employment, depending on your knowledge and experience.
A permanent contract for 24 - 36 hours per week.

The role

In the role of Nurse Specialist within the Elderly Community Team in the Venlo region, you offer specialized care to elderly people with psychiatric vulnerabilities. As a lead practitioner, you take charge of the design and implementation of the treatment policy. You use evidence-based treatment methods, you provide crisis situation interventions, and you monitor the progress of clients with specific attention to complex care trajectories.

Requirements

You possess the registration Nurse Specialist GGZ (art. 14 wet BIG) or have almost completed the training.
You possess an AGB code.
You have courage, take decisions, and are able to work in a connecting (collaborative) manner.
Like no other, you know how to make the client's capacity for self-management and quality of life the central focus.
To be eligible for this position, a positive Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required.

About the company & team

As a Nurse Specialist at the elderly community team, you work ambulantly with clients aged 65 and older. You offer specialized care, perform diagnostics, and develop treatment plans in which somatic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects converge. In doing so, you support clients and their loved ones and strengthen their self-reliance and quality of life.

You coordinate care and connect different disciplines. Within the team, you supervise colleagues and the Nurse Specialist in training, actively contributing to their development. You also act independently and thoughtfully in crisis situations. Innovation is naturally part of this: you contribute ideas regarding treatment methods and utilize tools such as e-health.

You will join a close-knit multidisciplinary team in which collaboration and involvement are central. You work with, among others, psychiatrists, a specialist in geriatric medicine, nurses, Nurse Specialists, psychologists, and a systemic therapist. Together, you treat diverse issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, dementia, and addiction.

This diversity makes the work challenging and valuable. At the same time, there is much mutual support and collaboration. You are given the space to work independently, to apply your expertise, and to help build the further development of elderly care.

Your base location is Venlo, whereby you are willing to step in at the Venray location where necessary. Due to temporary replacement, you will work (partially) at the elderly clinic in Venray during the first months. After this period, you will return to your base in Venlo.
