The role
Do you feel at home in an environment that offers plenty of space for psychodynamic and existential ways of looking at things?
At GGZ Momentum, we believe in care that is truly personal. In our small-scale, multidisciplinary team, we create a warm, therapeutic context in which clients feel seen and heard. We look beyond symptoms and always strive to meet the person behind the behavior. Together with the client, we search for an appropriate treatment route.
We treat anxiety and mood disorders, self-destructive behavior such as addiction and eating disorders, and have expertise in co-morbidity, attachment issues, trauma, and personality disorders. Where possible, we offer group therapy, such as schema therapy part-time treatment and recovery-oriented part-time care for people with addiction issues. Symptom-focused behavioral therapy and body-oriented interventions are also part of our offering. We actively involve the family system, and we maintain close contacts with local peer support groups.
Daily, we make time for multidisciplinary consultation, because we believe in the power of collaboration. This allows us to keep each other sharp, align treatment policies, and ensure that our care aligns with the needs of our clients.
