The role

Pactum is looking for a youth care worker D or C for our young child group de Wilg in Neede. Here, we guide children aged 7 to 12 with social-emotional and behavioral problems. You provide a safe, stable environment and help them increase their self-confidence and trust in others. Join our team and make a real difference!

What you'll do

In our young child groups, children aged 7 to 12 live with attachment issues, traumas, and often various previous upbringing situations. You provide them with guidance, help them understand emotions, and support them in learning new skills. Our goal is to offer them the right help so that they can once again connect positively with themselves, their network, and caregivers. You work trauma-sensitively and while maintaining connection.

  • You guide children individually and in a group in their daily lives.

  • You make an active contribution to the treatment plan together with the behavioral scientist and the network.

  • You act as a mentor for one or more children and maintain contact with parents and other involved parties.

  • You work from a system-oriented vision and offer educational support to the network.

Your role, your impact

  • Preferably, you have already been trained to work according to connecting authority (Geweldloos Verzet/Nieuwe Autoriteit).

Your team, your place
In 2025, our groups moved to the location in Neede, right in the middle of the countryside on a quiet and protected estate. This environment offers the children peace, space, and overview. You will join a team that places great value on collaboration, clarity, and proximity. We invest in a strong treatment climate and we believe it is important that we create an environment where children feel seen and heard. Together with your colleagues, the behavioral scientist, manager, and the entire network surrounding the child, you will work intensively together to offer perspective.
