The activities take place within a specialized residential and support environment for clients with an intellectual disability and children and young people with complex behavioral needs. The setting requires a stable, calm, and structured approach, in which safety and personal attention are central. You will work in a dedicated team with a focus on development, tailored support, and the well-being of the clients.

You support children, young people, and clients with an intellectual disability in their daily functioning. The activities are focused on safety, structure, and appropriate guidance and consist of, among other things:

• Guiding clients in daily activities and moments of development
• Providing structure, predictability, and clarity
• Dealing with and guiding misunderstood behavior
• Administering medication according to protocol
• Identifying changes in behavior and acting appropriately upon them
• Contributing to a safe environment
• Collaborating with colleagues and other involved disciplines

You choose for yourself which location you want to work in. If you want a fixed group and to build a bond, that is possible. If you prefer to alternate between locations and target groups, that is also possible.

• Salary in accordance with CAO Disability Care, job group 40: €2,893 to €3,902 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of September 10, 2026. Scaling depends on your diploma and your experience. If you work as a level 3 guide, you fall into job group 35: €2,597 to €3,635 per month.
• 8% holiday allowance and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 47% at night and 52% on the weekend. A weekend shift therefore yields up to €37.89 per hour.

• Choose your own shifts in the GOED. app, without any hourly obligation. You see what is available and you click what you want.
• A contract with fixed hours if you want that, from 16 to 36 hours per week. If you would rather be completely free, that is also possible.
• Holiday allowance, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual. Simply arranged.
• A fixed contact person who knows you by name and who answers when you call.

• You have at least a diploma at mbo-level 3 as a guide or Caregiver IG
• Experience within disability care is a plus
• You have an affinity for clients with an intellectual disability and for children and young people with misunderstood behavior
• You are resilient, patient, and provide structure and clarity in complex situations
• You possess a valid BHV certificate and are competent in administering medication
