Support Worker in the Netherlands

In this role, you coordinate care around clients and actively maintain external and internal contacts such as with family, partners, practitioners (GGZ), SPVs, and clinics. As a supervisor, you draw up a support plan for clients within your caseload and are co-responsible for its structured implementation. Collaboration with practitioners and SPVs plays a role in this. Additionally, you perform ADL tasks when necessary. As a supervisor, you also provide support with the management of financial and material resources if needed and stimulate the self-reliance of clients regarding household tasks. Cooking is done in the group with clients, both independently and with help from the supervision. And meals are eaten together with the residents. As a supervisor, you contribute to a good living atmosphere and the safety and well-being of clients. Additionally, you prepare client and daily reports. Alongside your own caseload, you fulfill the role of coach within the team. You provide substantive coaching to fellow supervisors in their work and structurally evaluate the quality of the supervision. We are looking for a colleague for 24 to 32 hours per week.

From September 2026, the Lorentzweg location will be temporarily located in the old Tergooi hospital in Blaricum, because their own building is being renovated.

Team 1 at the Lorentzweg location supports 33 clients with a psychiatric background, both individually and in groups. Our goal? As independent a life as possible for our clients, with guidance in areas such as work, social relationships, and finances. The variation in care needs makes the work not only challenging but also very diverse. You will join a friendly team with various supervisors, where openness, initiative, and laughing together are central. And of course, there is always time for a cup of coffee!

Temporarily based in Blaricum
Lorentzweg is temporarily located in the former Tergooi hospital in Blaricum (this location is also easy to reach and is located next to the highway). Our own building is being fully and modernly renovated. As soon as the renovation is complete, we will return to our renewed location at Lorentzweg.

• At least a completed relevant MBO 4 education;

• You have experience and affinity with an adult psychiatric target group;

• You have knowledge of psychiatric disorders, psychosocial
  issues, and addiction issues;

• You have knowledge of the presence methodology and recovery support.

• A salary (between € 2.888,- and €3.917,- based on 36 hours) (cao GGZ, FWG 40).

• Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.

• In addition to the statutory 8.33% holiday allowance, you receive a year-end bonus of 8.33% and we have the balance budget; an annual choice budget of max €1,000 gross.

The procedure consists of 2 interviews; the 1st interview is with the recruiter and the 2nd interview is on location with 1 or 2 colleagues and a client. A shadowing moment may follow, and after that, the employment conditions interview. Upon employment, we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct). This vacancy is posted internally and externally.
