The role

As a personal support worker, you have your own caseload and support clients in their home environment. Together, you set goals that contribute to participating in society as independently as possible. You look at what makes someone happy and what is needed to shape life as well as possible, despite the limitations that may sometimes exist. You coordinate the care surrounding the client and work closely with colleagues, external organizations, and the social network. You maintain an overview, evaluate progress, and offer practical support where necessary. With your involvement, you build a strong bond of trust and truly stand by the client's side. The variety between support, coordination, and contact with different parties makes this position dynamic and meaningful. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic personal support worker to strengthen our team. You are self-assured, monitor your own boundaries, and have an eye for both residents and colleagues. You work both independently and collaboratively, and want to make a difference for our unique residents.

At Kwintes, we focus on what is possible, even when it comes to your career. We work from trust and offer you a meaningful job, the space to be yourself, and to get more out of yourself. Do you also see more in people?

Your workplace

At the Aagje Dekenstraat location, support is provided to an average of 30 clients over the age of 18, with diverse, (complex) psychiatric issues. You will be working in a regular protected living arrangement in which clients live in groups of 2 to 10 people. These homes are domestic and cozy and are located in the heart of the neighborhood. The team consists of 15 colleagues, which is a mix of different ages and work experience. You will work alternately with personal support workers, residential support workers, residential care staff, and external caregivers. Together, we possess a significant amount of knowledge and experience.

What we expect from you

You know better than anyone how to make contact with people who are difficult to reach. You remain calm, even when the situation is not, and you persevere where others stop.

  • A completed higher professional education (HBO) relevant to the position.

  • Several years of work experience within mental healthcare (GGZ).

  • Flexibility in scheduling your activities; you can react acutely to situations.

  • Willingness to sometimes work longer when the situation requires it.

  • A B driver's license and possession of a car.

  • A job in which you make a difference every day!

  • A salary between €3,180 and €4,273 based on 36 hours (CAO GGZ, FWG 45).

  • Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.

  • In addition to the statutory 8.33% holiday allowance, you receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, and at Kwintes, we offer a balance budget of €1,000 gross per year pro rata to your employment. Our lease scheme for the most beautiful and best (electric) bicycles is also worth mentioning!

  • An excellent pension scheme in which Kwintes contributes 50%.

  • A wide range of education, training, and coaching; both through our learning & development department and through external parties.
