Skills
Stichting Kwintes is hiring for this role in several places. This vacancy is in Amersfoort.
This job advert was originally written in Dutch.
The role
As a residential support worker, you work from the individual support plans that clients draw up together with their personal counselor. You are responsible for the implementation of these plans, whereby you have a strong signaling function. In the role of residential support worker, you visit clients in their own homes and proactively offer practical help with daily activities; such as doing groceries together, cooking, and cleaning the home. As a residential support worker, you stimulate clients to come up with solutions for their specific situation. Naturally, you ensure that your administration and reports are in order. The support of clients is the priority, but there is also plenty of room to shape the work together with the team. In this position, you work in alternating (day, evening, and weekend) shifts between 08:00 and 21:30. Occasionally, you will work an overnight shift.
Your workplace
Locatie De Driehoek is a sheltered housing location for adults of various ages and backgrounds, with 42 independent homes and apartments spread across three streets in a residential area, near the Keigoed activation center. The homes have their own front door, kitchen, living and bedroom, bathroom, and toilet, and some feature a small garden. The location is close to shops, amenities, and public transport. Residential support is present daily until 21:30 in the office at Keigoed; outside of these times, there is emergency contact via an on-call guard. Support takes place largely by appointment, but there are also spontaneous home visits. In the activation center, collective activities are organized, such as a weekly meal, specifically for residents of Kwintes locations and in consultation with participants.
