Stichting Kwintes is hiring for this role in several places. This vacancy is in Amersfoort.

This job advert was originally written in Dutch.

The role

As a social worker in the social relief housing team, you are the stable factor in the daily lives of clients with complex support needs. You guide them based on a personal plan that they develop together with their social worker. You translate this plan into practice and support them step by step towards greater independence. You identify changes in behavior or situation and take action where necessary. As a social worker, you stimulate clients to find solutions themselves and apply them in their lives. You offer practical support, for example with grocery shopping, cooking, or cleaning the home. You also facilitate group moments such as communal meals and ensure a safe, pleasant atmosphere in which everyone feels seen. In addition to guidance, you perform administrative tasks and report carefully on progress. Sometimes you also assist with personal care. What makes this work as a social worker special is that, together with your team, you actively contribute to the development of the location and the way of working. You work in alternating early and late shifts, including weekends, and occasionally work a sleep shift. In this role, you make a daily impact and are given the space to continue developing yourself, both professionally and personally.

Your workplace

Team Amersfoort social relief housing guides adults who have been homeless and have received an order for protected housing. Every day is different, and that makes the work fun and dynamic. These clients deal with, among other things, addiction and dual diagnoses. Additionally, the team also guides people with a judicial order. 21 clients live at the main location and 13 clients live at the forensic location. You guide clients at various addresses in the nearby area, totaling 52. You therefore also offer semi-ambulatory guidance. A room has been set up for sleep shifts, and a security guard is present at night.
