  • Hybrid working with flexible working hours.
  • Career growth within portfolio management.

All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:

  • On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
  • € 700.- (gross) annually to spend on your own energy, for example for your sports membership or your new sportswear.

On top of that, there is this:

  • Modern home working facilities and a home working allowance of € 2.40 per day. At Stedin, we work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
  • You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.
  • Your development is central: attending events with colleagues and following training and education. This is how you get the best out of yourself.

The role

As a Medior Portfolio Consultant, you bring overview to our change portfolio, improve how we work together, and continue to grow in the field of portfolio management.

What you'll do

As a Portfolio Consultant, you ensure overview and coherence in Stedin's change portfolio. You help translate strategic goals into choices, make dependencies between portfolios visible, and support prioritization and decision-making. Together with portfolio managers, you improve the change portfolio process. In this way, you help Stedin to increasingly better connect change initiatives, capacity, and value.

A day as a Portfolio Consultant:

  • You start the day with the weekly portfolio team meeting. You update your colleagues on the topics you are responsible for and bring in signals and requests from the organization, so it becomes clear where an action or a decision is needed.
  • After the meeting, you help a colleague with a question about the portfolio process or Targetprocess, the portfolio tooling. You handle wishes and change requests via the agreed change process, thereby helping colleagues further.
  • Later, you brainstorm with a decentralized portfolio manager about an improvement in the prioritization approach and/or portfolio tooling. You map out the various interests and consequences and translate them together into a concrete proposal.
  • In the afternoon, you notice that information about the portfolio process on SharePoint needs an update. You update the environment and ensure that colleagues can find the correct work instructions and onboarding material.
  • Before you close the day, you update the Team Kanban. This ensures that progress, actions, and priorities are clear for the entire team once again.

With these qualities, you will grow here

You maintain overview when many things are happening at once and bring structure to information and agreements. You easily seek collaboration, ask follow-up questions, and know how to bring different interests together. Do you see that something can be done smarter or more clearly? Then you take action and truly help drive the improvement forward.

Furthermore, you have:

  • HBO or WO working and thinking level.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience within portfolio management, project management, or change management.
  • Experience with analyzing and structuring information and working with data and digital tooling to make progress, dependencies, and points of attention visible.

Hiring process

Ready to bring overview, drive improvements, and advance our portfolio management? We would love to meet you.

This is also good to know:

  • For this position, we would like to receive your motivation.
  • Questions about the vacancy? Please contact Chantal Dedert via chantal.dedert@stedin.net or 06-11 451 231.
  • This position is available for 32 to 40 hours per week, so that work and private life remain well balanced.
  • An internal reference and digital assessment are part of this process, so that we can get to know you (and you yourself) even better.
