The role
Your energy in the plus
As a master data specialist, you will be given the space to help build, drive improvements, and bring colleagues along in the interest of good data. In this way, you contribute to the energy transition every single day.
Why working at Stedin gives you energy:
- A job with plenty of variety and challenge.
- A lot of freedom. In your work, and through hybrid working and flexible working hours.
- An attractive salary and, on top of that, a personal budget of 24% and a Sustainable Employability Budget of 700 euros per year.
Work to be proud of
Supply Chain is becoming increasingly data-driven. This requires reliable data and a solid foundation for master data management. And that is exactly where you come in. As a master data specialist, you will be given the space to help build, drive improvements, and bring colleagues along in the interest of good data.
A day as a master data specialist:
- For example, you start your day by diving into the data structures of our systems. Which data is available, is it correct, and where are the gaps? You investigate where improvements are needed and how we can better unlock and record missing data.
- After that, you join colleagues from Vendor Management, Logistics, or Services. Together, you discuss where data quality can be improved and which improvement initiatives are needed to make our data increasingly reliable.
- You see opportunities and do not wait around: you initiate improvement projects, bring the right people together, and monitor progress. In this way, you help Supply Chain move forward step by step in professional master data management.
- You are also an important sparring partner for colleagues. You advise on master data, data governance, and data structures, while simultaneously ensuring greater awareness of the importance of good data quality.
- You regularly coordinate with the Stedin Data Office. You translate internal policies into the practice of Supply Chain and ensure that agreements regarding data actually find their place in the daily way of working.
Here is how you recharge
All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:
- A gross monthly salary between € 4548 and € 6331 (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.
- On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) extra vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
- An annual € 700,- (gross) Sustainable Employability budget to spend on your own energy, for example, for your sports membership or sports clothing.
On top of that, there is this:
- Modern home working facilities and a home working allowance of € 2.40 per day. At Stedin, we work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
- You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.
- Your development is central: attending events with colleagues and following training and education. This is how you get the best out of yourself.
With these qualities, you will grow here
You are a master data specialist who finds the future of the energy grid important and interesting. You have an affinity for Supply Chain Management. In particular, you are interested in data management and the optimization of data structures and processes. You thrive best in a small and specialized team, but you communicate your findings to the entire business unit. With your strong analytical skills, it is no problem to fathom complex processes. You get energy from actively engaging in conversation with stakeholders, you get enthusiastic about setting up new master data management, and you would enjoy functionally guiding data stewards within the departments (regarding content).
Furthermore, you have:
- at least HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level and relevant work experience.
- experience and/or affinity with data structures and data management.
- knowledge and experience with SAP. Experience with the MM module is a plus.
Take the step to your next challenge
We look forward to meeting you.
This is also good to know:
- To get a good idea of your motivation and suitability for this position, we ask you to add a motivation letter to your application. We would like to receive your letter and CV in PDF format.
- This job is for 40, 36 (4 or 5 or 4.5 days per week) or 32 hours per week.
