The role
Do you think a few moves ahead and can you quickly grasp complex issues? Can you provide direction when interests diverge, the solution is not yet fixed, and decision-making at a senior level is required? Then we are looking for you as a Consultant Strategic Programs.
Job Title
Consultant Strategic Programs
You & your role
As a Consultant Strategic Programs within the Strategic Programs team (part of Staff & Transitions) you will lead strategic and impactful change assignments and remediation dossiers. In these, interests converge, decision-making is complex, and standard solutions are lacking. Often, these involve (change) projects with a high risk that contribute directly to the quality of our services, improving customer interest, and the realization of Rabobank's strategy.
In doing so, you combine the strength of program and project management, strategic analysis, and change management. You quickly grasp complex issues, bring structure, advise senior management and executive board during decision-making, and ensure that changes are realized sustainably and anchored in the organization.
You find it challenging to switch between strategy and operations and you bring stakeholders along in direction, choices, and solution paths. You accelerate change, facilitate teams, and safeguard improvements in Business-as-Usual processes. In short, you play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality and effectiveness of the organization with the projects entrusted to you.
This is what you will do:
- independently managing complex, organization-wide change assignments;
- advising senior management and preparing and guiding decision-making;
- translating complex issues into a clear strategy and concrete change and implementation approaches;

- a strong network within Rabobank and close cooperation with various stakeholders;
- a result-oriented working environment in which quality, ownership, and professionalism are central;

With us, you get the chance to develop your skills and grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

- proven experience with implementation: from analysis and design to realization and safeguarding in the line organization.
- highly developed analytical and conceptual skills.

- proactive, flexible, result-oriented, and able to maintain an overview in complexity;

Therefore, in addition to your motivation, please briefly answer the following three questions in your letter:
1. Describe a complex, organization-wide change assignment or decision-making process that you managed independently.
What made the assignment complex, what was your responsibility, and what result did you achieve?
2. Give an example of a situation in which you advised the executive board or senior management on a complex or sensitive issue.
Which interests were at play, what was your advice, and what role did you have in the decision-making? With which stakeholders were you not aligned and how did you handle this?

How did you ensure that the change actually landed in the organization? What was your biggest challenge in this, and how did you deal with it?
