As a Contract & Vendor Manager IT & OT, you will work at the intersection of the digital transformation and the energy transition. No two days are the same: one moment you are sitting down with a contract owner, the next moment you are discussing with an important supplier how the collaboration can be even better. You work closely with the IT and OT buyers within Supply Chain. While the buyer is responsible for the tender, contracting, and commercial agreements, you ensure that agreements are met in practice and that suppliers perform optimally. You understand that a good internal organization is helpful to complementary suppliers. Together, you form an important link between the business, suppliers, and Supply Chain throughout the entire contract lifecycle.

What your day looks like as a Contract & Vendor Manager IT & OT:

• You start your day with a meeting with a contract owner. How is the collaboration with the supplier progressing, where are the bottlenecks, and what requires attention? Together, you determine what is needed to maintain or further improve the quality of service.
• Afterwards, you have a conversation with one of our important IT or OT suppliers. You discuss performance and agreements, but also look ahead: where are the opportunities for improvement and innovation, and how can you achieve more from the collaboration together?
• In between, you work on the proper management of your contracts. You monitor agreements and obligations, track actions, and ensure that relevant information is up-to-date and insightful. In doing so, you make use of, among others, SAP Ariba and Power BI.
• In the afternoon, you take the time to map out contractual, operational, and supplier risks and translate these into concrete actions for internal and external stakeholders.
• At the end of the day, you have an appointment with the project team for a tender, where you provide your experiences from contract execution as input and contribute to drafting the tender documentation, such as an SLA.

All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:

• A gross monthly salary between € 5208,- and € 7267,- (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.
• On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) extra vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
• An annual € 700,- (gross) Sustainable Employability budget to spend on your own energy, for example, for your sports membership or sports clothing.

On top of that, there is this:

• Modern home working facilities and a home working allowance of € 2.40 per day. At Stedin, we work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
• You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.

In this role, customer focus is naturally central, in which you are the connecting link between contract owners, IT, OT, suppliers, and procurement.

You enjoy collaborating, are accurate, possess strong communication skills, and strive for the best possible result.

You are able to, or willing to, make the following your own: establishing and monitoring contract governance, reading and understanding contracts and specifications, drafting clear decision documents, and maintaining transferable administration.

Furthermore, you have

• a completed HBO or WO degree in a relevant field, supplemented by 3-5 years of knowledge and experience in the field of sourcing and vendor management.
• at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of vendor management and/or contract management.
• experience, knowledge, or affinity with the IT and IV field.
