SAP Ariba Functional Administrator

As a SAP Ariba Functional Administrator, you help us make our procurement and vendor management processes more efficient and innovative, acting as the link between our Sourcing & Vendor Management department and IT. In this way, you contribute every day to a professional, future-proof supplier and procurement landscape that is essential for the energy transition.

No two days are the same. You continuously switch between users, processes, and systems, ensuring that SAP Ariba aligns optimally with the needs of the organization. Together with colleagues from Sourcing & Vendor Management, IT, and other departments, you work on smart solutions that make our procurement and supplier processes a little better every day.

A day as a SAP Ariba Functional Administrator:

• You start the day by monitoring SAP Ariba and checking whether everything is running smoothly within the Supplier Risk, Supplier Performance, and Contracts modules, as well as the tendering platform. You immediately address any notifications, user queries, or disruptions.
• Next, you engage in dialogue with users. You inventory their wishes, think along about process improvements, and translate needs into practical solutions within the systems.
• Later in the morning, you work together with IT and other stakeholders on new functionalities, system integrations, or improvements. You test changes, assess the impact on processes, and ensure a smooth implementation.
• In the afternoon, you dive into data and processes. You analyze how the system is being used, identify bottlenecks, and investigate where vendor management and procurement processes can be designed more efficiently, user-friendly, or smartly.
• You end the day by sharing knowledge and looking ahead. You update user manuals, provide short instructions for colleagues, or prepare an improvement initiative to make SAP Ariba and the tendering platform even more effectively deployed within Stedin.

All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:

• A gross monthly salary between € 4548 and € 6331 (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.
• On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) extra vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
• An annual € 700,- (gross) Sustainable Employability budget to spend on your own energy, for example, for your sports membership or sports clothing.

On top of that, there is this:

• Modern home working facilities and a home working allowance of € 2.40 per day. At Stedin, we work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
• You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.

You know how Sourcing & Vendor Management processes work and how the processes surrounding them can be optimized. You are proactive, analytically strong, and possess problem-solving skills. In doing so, you find good collaboration and clear, open communication important. If you have knowledge of SAP Ariba, we see that as a plus.

Furthermore, you have:

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
