The role

Your energy in the plus

The challenges within Business Project are significant: achieving more work with scarce capacity, collaborating smarter in the chain, and taking project management to a higher level. As a business consultant, you play a key role in this change. You analyze bottlenecks, create support, and guide improvements from idea to successful implementation.

Why working at Stedin gives you energy:

  • You make an impact with lasting improvements.
  • You contribute to one of the greatest societal transitions of our time.
  • You have the freedom and control to successfully realize changes.

Work to be proud of

You work in a multidisciplinary change team that focuses on two closely related domains: project management and environmental management. Project leaders and environmental managers deal daily with complex stakeholder processes, tight schedules, and a growing workload. You help them to do that work smarter, more predictably, and better organized.

A day as a Business Consultant Change:

  • You start the day with the Change Team and discuss the progress of ongoing improvement initiatives together with process experts, business representatives, and the change lead.
  • You work on professionalizing project control, so that project leaders can better steer on quality, progress, and results.
  • You contribute to improving the processes surrounding environmental management, where collaboration with municipalities, contractors, and other stakeholders is central.
  • You also work on improving the customer journey for large business customers who need a connection or network adjustment, and on increasing predictability in the chain so that all parties in the execution are better aligned with each other. Additionally, there are initiatives where roles and ways of working are clarified and improved in an organization that is growing rapidly.
  • You contribute to increasing predictability in the supply chain and help further clarify roles, responsibilities and ways of working within a fast-growing organization.

Here is how you recharge

All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know exactly what to expect:

  • A gross monthly salary of up to € 7,267.70 (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.
  • On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) vacation days. In our calculation tool.
  • € 700.- (gross) annually to spend on your own energy, for example for your sports membership or your new sportswear.

On top of that, there is this:

  • Modern home working facilities and a home working allowance of € 2.40 per day. At Stedin, we work 50% from home and 50% in the office.
  • You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.
  • Your development is central: attending events with colleagues and following training and education. This is how you get the best out of yourself.

Moving forward with energy with the Change & Support team

The team you will join is the Project and Environmental Management Change Team, part of the Change & Support department within Business Project. You work together with a change lead, process experts, and business representatives from the project teams. The team is small enough to switch quickly and large enough to learn from each other's expertise.

Your direct colleagues work daily with project leaders, environmental managers, and chain partners to not only come up with improvements but also to truly make them work in practice.

With these qualities, you will grow here

You have experience with change management and successfully guiding change processes within organizations. You easily bring stakeholders along in changes, know how to connect, and create enthusiasm for new ways of working. You are communicatively strong, ask probing questions, and maintain control over progress. Additionally, you are proactive and decisive when the situation calls for it.

Furthermore, you have:

  • You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking and have completed an education in, for example, (technical) business administration, civil engineering, or a similar field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience with project management, change management, and/or business consultancy, preferably in the infra or energy sector.
  • Prince2, Lean Greenbelt, and/or SAFe Agile, Prosci certification is a plus.

Take the step to your next challenge
