Portfolio Manager

• You possess at least an HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking

• You have a completed relevant education, for example, Business Administration

• You have at least 10 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 3 years is within (project) portfolio management

• You have experience within business and/or financial services

• You have demonstrable experience with ICT portfolio management

• You have knowledge of Agile working and Lean Portfolio Management (for example, SAFe)

• You have experience with portfolio and dashboarding tooling

• Experience with setting up and professionalizing portfolio management is a plus

• Certifications such as MoP or Lean Portfolio Management are a plus

• Strategically and analytically strong

• Organizationally sensitive

Within MSPS, we are looking for a Portfolio Manager to provide direction to our change portfolio and ensure that strategic choices actually lead to maximum business value. Someone who not only monitors processes, but also knows how to bring together people, interests, and priorities.

You move easily between executive management, management, and teams, ask the right questions, and dare to hold one another accountable when necessary to move forward together.

As a Portfolio Manager within MSPS, you are responsible for the strategic direction and optimization of the change portfolio within the organization. You ensure that strategic objectives are translated into concrete initiatives and continuously monitor the coherence between business objectives, ICT roadmaps, and execution.

Additionally:

• You direct the entire end-to-end portfolio process

• You monitor the alignment between strategy, architecture, ICT roadmaps, and execution

• You advise executive management and management on portfolio and investment issues

• You drive business value based on KPIs and OKRs

• You develop and manage portfolio overviews and dashboards

• You monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks

• You ensure alignment between business and ICT capacity and prioritization issues

• You create support for ways of working, choices, and decision-making

• You work closely with management, project managers, product owners, and architects

• You promote Agile working and Lean Portfolio Management within the organization

• You ensure the further professionalization of portfolio management within MSPS

The Portfolio Manager reports to the Manager of Architecture and PPM.
