As an Individual Healthcare Provider (Verzorgende IG), you offer personal and expert care to residents. Your duties are varied and meaningful:

• You support residents with daily care, such as washing, dressing, and personal hygiene.

• You perform nursing technical procedures that match your expertise.

• You share and administer medication according to the applicable agreements.

• You identify changes in the health and well-being of residents and take action where necessary.

• You maintain care records and coordinate care with colleagues and other involved healthcare professionals.

• You encourage residents to continue doing as much as possible themselves.

• You offer a listening ear and have an eye for the personal wishes and needs of residents.

• Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a pleasant, safe, and trusted living environment.

Het Terras aan de Maas is a nursing home of Stichting Humanitas in Spijkenisse, beautifully located with a view of the Oude Maas. The location is situated on the first four floors of the building and accommodates 44 residents. The departments are set up on a small scale, with 11 residents per department.

Residents have their own comfortable apartment with a bathroom and sanitary facilities. In the communal living rooms, residents meet each other and enjoy a freshly prepared meal daily. There is much attention to well-being and various activities are organized.

On the ground floor, you will find the BuurTerras, a cozy place to come together, have a drink, or participate in activities. Family and loved ones are also very welcome and are actively involved in the daily lives of the residents.

Together with your colleagues, you ensure an environment in which residents feel safe, seen, and at home.

You are a committed and expert Individual Healthcare Provider (Verzorgende IG) who works with attention and pleasure. You have an eye for the personal wishes of residents and know how important a trusted environment is.

Furthermore:

• You have a diploma as an Individual Healthcare Provider (Verzorgende IG, level 3).

• You are caring, patient, and have an eye for the personal wishes of residents.

• You can work independently, but also actively seek collaboration with colleagues.

• You identify changes in the health and well-being of residents.

• You take responsibility and think along about the quality of care.

• You are flexibly deployable for various shifts.
