Support Worker in the Netherlands

As an IG caregiver (Verzorgende IG), you guide clients in their daily lives and help them experience more independence and control, step by step. You provide support with personal care and nursing technical procedures and are involved in guidance. You create a safe, warm atmosphere in which someone feels seen. You carefully observe how clients are doing, clearly record your findings, and respond timely to changes in behavior, health, or well-being. In this, you work closely with the residential support team. You work with clear guidance and care plans and instill confidence in clients by tackling routines and household tasks together. Respect is central to the relationship you build: you align with someone's pace, wishes, and possibilities. Through the variety, the complexity, and the collaboration with colleagues, you continuously grow in your profession. In this way, you contribute every day to more stability, resilience, and well-being.

You will work at the Hoog Kanje sheltered housing location in Zeist, in the Kerckebosch district, which has a small shopping center. The neighborhood is lively, with many forests, a primary school and a secondary school, a community center, and sports facilities nearby. The team you will join considers good communication and a pleasant and safe working atmosphere to be important. The location offers 24/7 guidance to people approximately 30 to 80 years old. All residents have a mental vulnerability. The focus lies on quality of life and, where possible, on transition.

• A completed MBO level 3 education relevant to the position, such as IG Caregiver (Verzorgende IG) and Social Care (Maatschappelijke Zorg).

• Experience in a similar position involving nursing and care procedures. Additionally, you have gained experience in the role of a guide/mentor.

• You are willing to work irregular shifts (early/late)

• You can work well independently, but are also a team player, assertive, and can react adequately in stressful situations.

• A salary between € 2,735.- and € 3,560.- based on 36 hours (cao GGZ, FWG 35).

• Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.

• In addition to the statutory 8.33% holiday allowance, you receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, and at Kwintes, we offer a balance budget of €1,000 gross per year pro rata to your employment. Our lease scheme for the most beautiful and best (electric) bicycles is also worth mentioning!
