The role

As a healthcare assistant (IG), you provide clients with support in their daily care and contribute to a safe and trusted living environment. You keep an eye on how clients are doing, identify any irregularities, and take action when necessary. You also solve practical problems and ensure a clear handover to your colleagues. As a healthcare assistant (IG), you have an eye for the personal needs of clients. Using the presence-based approach, you connect as closely as possible to what someone needs. You build a bond of trust and offer support with personal care where necessary. Additionally, you administer medication and help clients maintain their day and night rhythms. In this role as a healthcare assistant (IG), you combine your knowledge of care with a personal and committed way of guiding. You know when you can act independently and when it is important to involve a colleague.

From September 2026, the Lorentzweg location will be temporarily located in the old Tergooi hospital in Blaricum, because their own building is being renovated.

Your workplace

The BW+ is a protected residential setting in Bussum that is easily accessible by public transport. We offer guidance and support to 26 residents aged approximately 70 years and older. The residents have a psychiatric background; some have a limited somatic care need. You will work within a dedicated and experienced team of approximately 25 employees consisting of (coordinating) supervisors, assisting supervisors, household supporters, and activity supervisors. Together, we ensure a pleasant atmosphere in the group where everyone can be themselves.

Temporarily based in Blaricum
Lorentzweg is temporarily located in the former Tergooi hospital in Blaricum (this location is also easy to reach and is located next to the highway). Our own building is being fully and modernly renovated. As soon as the renovation is complete, we will return to our renewed location at Lorentzweg.

What you bring

  • A completed relevant MBO 3 degree.

  • Work experience within mental healthcare (GGZ) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of psychological vulnerability (disorders, etc.)

  • Knowledge of somatic conditions.

  • You are able to assess situations in a good manner.

We offer

  • A job in which you make a difference every day!

  • A salary between € 2,735 and € 3,560 based on 36 hours (CAO GGZ, FWG 35). An Irregularity Allowance (ORT) of 22 to 60 percent of the ORT hourly wage applies to this.

  • Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.

  • In addition to the statutory 8.33% holiday allowance, you receive an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%, and at Kwintes, we offer a balance budget of €1,000 gross per year pro rata to your employment. Our lease scheme for the most beautiful and best (electric) bicycles is also worth mentioning!

  • An excellent pension scheme in which Kwintes contributes 50%.

  • A wide range of education, training, and coaching; both through our Learning & Development department and via external parties.

The procedure consists of 2 interviews; the 1st interview is with the recruiter and the 2nd interview is on-site with 1 or 2 colleagues and a client. Upon employment, we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct). This vacancy is posted both internally and externally.
