What you'll do

What you will do

When a referral is made from the neighborhood team to Intensive Support (IH), the intensive assistance is initiated. Using the IH methodology, you work intensively and effectively on increasing safety within the family. Here, the family's question is central, and you work together to realize solutions. You work with families and youths where multiple complex problems are present.

You are able to look at the family with a different perspective, without being biased. You can be the professional who carries out the assistance yourself, but you can also have the role of case manager. In this role, you direct the trajectory and maintain contact with the involved agencies and any other care providers.

You coordinate the care and can collaborate well with the various partners in the safety chain. You can position yourself well and are able to deal with resistance. Even in crisis situations, you are able to maintain calm and overview and work in a planned manner.

How you'll work

You can work between 28 and 36 hours per week. At MEE Rotterdam, you do not have to work on weekends. You are SKJ-registered or you can be registered on short notice.

Requirements

  • You have a completed Bachelor HBO Social Work, MWD, SPH, Pedagogy, or Applied Psychology.

  • You are SKJ-registered, or you can register in the short term.

  • You have several years of work experience in youth care and outpatient work.

  • Given the diversity of problems, we ask for experience in and affinity with guidance and treatment in a voluntary or compulsory setting. You also have experience with (un)safety in families and how to improve this in cooperation with the family.

  • You have knowledge of and insight into the range of assistance, various assistance methodologies such as the ZvvO methodology, for example, and in creating safety plans.

Hiring process

Then send a short motivation with CV via the "Apply" button. You will receive word within 5 working days at the latest whether you will be invited for an interview.
