Care Assistant Plus

You support residents with their daily care and contribute to their well-being. During your work:

• You help residents with washing, dressing, and other activities of daily living (ADL).

• You administer medication according to the applicable guidelines and your competencies.

• You notice changes in the health and well-being of residents and discuss these with your colleagues.

• You encourage residents to continue doing as much as possible themselves.

• You offer personal attention, engage in conversation, and listen to what is on the minds of the residents.

• You contribute to an enjoyable daily routine and a pleasant living environment.

• You work independently, with always a team of colleagues to fall back on.

Hofje Hoogvliet is a small-scale residential location of Stichting Humanitas in Hoogvliet. Here, people with dementia live in a quiet and safe environment, with much attention to personal care and well-being.

Residents have their own comfortable apartment with a bathroom and sanitary facilities. In the communal living rooms, residents meet each other and meals are eaten together. In the Atrium, activities regularly take place that align with the wishes and possibilities of the residents.

Family and friends are welcome and play an important role in the lives of the residents. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a warm community in which residents feel at home.

Hofje Hoogvliet is fully in development. The location has been expanded with new apartments and is being further renovated. You will find yourself in a place where personal attention, well-being, and good care are central.

You are a committed and independent Care Assistant Plus who loves to do something for others. You have an eye for the person behind the care needs and know how important personal attention is.

Furthermore:

• You have a diploma in Care & Welfare Assistant (level 2), supplemented with the Care Assistant Plus certificate.

• You are authorized and competent to administer medication according to the applicable guidelines.

• You are caring, patient, and have a warm heart for people with dementia.

• You encourage residents to continue doing as much as possible themselves.

• You can work independently and seek collaboration with colleagues where necessary.

• You notice changes in the well-being of residents and discuss these with your colleagues.

• You are flexibly deployable for various shifts.

  • A salary according to the CAO VVT, FWG 25: € 16.61 to € 20.66 gross per hour, with a maximum of € 3,124.01 gross per month for a full-time employment of 36 hours.

  • 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%.

  • A contract for 16 to 32 hours per week.
