Mental Healthcare Nurse Helmond

This assignment runs from mid-November to mid-January for 28 hours per week, at one location in Helmond. You will become part of the team. No changing faces, no constant re-onboarding.

You will be working on a closed inpatient ward within geriatric psychiatry. The ward offers care and treatment to elderly people aged 60 and over with severe psychiatric disorders. The care needs may vary per patient and depend on the current patient population.

Within the ward, the emphasis lies on providing guidance, structure, and direction. Additionally, ADL care may be part of the duties. Due to the psychiatric issues and the closed setting, it is important that you are resilient. Physical resilience and experience with aggression regulation are desired, so that you can act calmly and professionally even in challenging situations.

You build a bond with the same clients and you see the results of your guidance. You work according to a schedule that you know in advance. You will be employed by GOED. on a secondment basis and work for the client. Your salary, your contract, and your supervision are handled through us.

- Salary in accordance with the CAO Mental Healthcare, grading in job group 45: €3,180 to €4,273 gross per month for 36 hours. Amounts as of July 1, 2026.
Grading depends on your diploma and your experience.
- 8.33% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 44% at night, 38% to 49% on Saturday, and 60% on Sunday and public holidays. A Sunday shift therefore yields up to €41.60 per hour.

- You have completed training as a Caregiver IG (MBO level 3), Nursing (MBO/HBO), or higher.
- You have an affinity for working with elderly people aged 60 and over with severe psychiatric disorders.
- Preferably, you have experience within psychiatry and/or a closed clinical setting.
- You are willing to provide ADL care where necessary and support clients with their daily care.
- You are resilient and can act calmly and professionally even in restless or challenging situations.
- You are physically resilient; experience with aggression regulation is desired.
- You are independent, observant, and know how to collaborate well with colleagues at the same time.
